Spicy Biscuits

These spicy biscuits belong to one of our favourite biscuits in the family. They are quickly made and taste very nice with wholemeal Kamut or spelt flour. A vegan alternative with oil and bananas can be found here as well.

Duration: Approx. 30-40 minutes

Amount: 2 baking trays 30 biscuits each


360 grams Kamut- or wholemeal spelt flour

200 grams raw cane sugar

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 teaspoon of seasalt

2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar

2 teaspoons of gingerbreadspices

150-200 grams dark chocolate, chopped

200 grams butter or vegan with 150 millilitres oil

2 eggs or vegan with 2 Bananas


1. Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

2. Add the soft butter or the oil, the eggs or bananas and stir it all together with a wooden spoon.

3. Form hazelnut- or walnutsized doughballs.

4. Place them on a greased baking tin.

5. Bake at 180°C in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.

6. Let them cool down and fill them in biscuit tins.
