Seedy-Crispbread

This seedy crispbread is an absolutely healthy, delicious and long-lasting bread. It is crispy and filled with healthy seeds such as sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, and hemp. You can vary the ingredients and each time you get a new taste experience.

Duration: 30 minutes (Plus 1 hour resting time)

Amount: 2 baking trays

Ingredients:

200 grams of whole grain rye flour

200 grams of oatmeal

100 grams of sunflower seeds

100 grams of pumpkin seeds

50 grams of sesame seeds

50 grams of hemp seeds

50 grams of brown flax seeds

50 grams of flaxseed golden

6 tablespoons vegetable oil (e.g. fried olive oil)

2 teaspoons of ground caraway seeds

1 tablespoon of salt

450 grams of hot water

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and pour hot water over them
  2. Stir and let the bread ingredients soak for about an hour.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° Celsius.
  4. Halve the dough and roll it out, about 3 millimetres thin, between two layers of baking paper.
  5. Peel off the top baking paper and cut the thin dough into even crispbread rectangles (6x10 cm).
  6. Pull the baking paper onto one or two trays and bake on the middle rail for 25-30 minutes until the desired colour.
