In the estate of my dear friend Helma, I found an old blue exercise book that belonged to one of her relatives. Written in dense cursive script on lined paper are a variety of Christmas biscuit recipes. Two different biscuits, one with lemon zest and one with walnuts or hazelnuts, are very easy to make and both taste delicious.
